“I enjoy making cards and collages, often incorporating old photographs into them.
Discarded family photographs inspire me to elevate (or deflate) those folks into a personality or life I feel they might have had, or should have had. With a nostalgic tone, I try to expose their dreams, regrets, evolution, and transformations.
Mixed media collages. Recycled materials often make their way into my pieces which are sometimes influenced by the steampunk style.
Rescued furniture, saved from the hungry jaws of a landfill. Reincarnated back to a serviceable life, by paint and a whimsical and funky brush.
Common themes for me are higher realization of self, deeper understanding of the essence of being human, liberation of historical roles regarding women, and humor.”
