I am a maker. Creative energy is as comfortable to me as breathing and walking. Making things with my hands is an essential part of my physical and emotional makeup. I don’t know how else to exist, and never have. 

I always have multiple projects in action. Painting with encaustic over here, stitching over there, mark making on paper, and wood sculptures taking shape. It may seem wild, but there is a strong thread that weaves them all together. For a long time I thought I was scattered and disorganized. I have come to realize that my love of discovering and understanding different art making processes has landed me with my voice today. My expression is loud, clear and distinctive.

 I am on an “inner peace” mission with my work. I make in order to create spaces that make me feel held, seen, and deeply connected. My art is my own personal savior.
