Emily Li Mandri creates women’s accessories under her eponymous line MLE (www.madebymle.com). Her work is focused on sustainability by sourcing recycled, deadstock, or ecofriendly materials to create her pieces. Recurring themes within her work reference female empowerment, elegance, and whimsy, with signature pops of color and bold details integrated throughout to create wearable statement pieces. She designs and creates all her samples in her studio in Saugerties, NY. Li Mandri continues to infuse her fine arts training in her current work, for example hand painting on silk fabric which she then sews into one-of-a-kind fashion accessories.
