Bill Reinhart

“A Saugerties native, I graduated from Central College, Iowa, in 1971 with a B.A. and a Major in Art.  In 1977 I built a gas fired pottery kiln behind the Woodstock Guild on Tinker St and taught pottery in the basement.  I had a
pottery business in Kingston from 1979 – 81. During the past 25 years I have designed and built props and scenery for the Ulster Ballet Company as well as having danced many times with the Company. I had a furniture restoration business in Saugerties from 1984 – 99 and occasionally made small, country style furniture and toys.”

“Currently, from time to time, I make dining room tables old looking road and shop signs from recycled wood. I have drawn since I was a kid in different media and I am now experimenting painting with latex acrylic house paint.”
